Currently, illegal hunting and ivory trafficking are one of the biggest crime industries affecting specially elephants and rhinoceros.
The financial volume this type of crime moves around today enables illegal hunters of these species to be armed, trained, technological resourceful and well organized in complex international networks. This is why fighting illegal hunting is nowadays the biggest challenge for many countries.
Forest patrols are the first line of response in defending wild life. Suitably, Grupo Milícia is pride to say it has been providing all kinds of equipment to hundreds of men so they can perform their best in this kind of job. We also have been providing their training with utter responsibility and thus, fulfilling agreements regarding partnerships we maintain with Ministries of Internal Affairs of different countries.
Our field experience in remote locations combined with our training staff knowledge brings state institutions to solicit from Grupo Milícia aid in protecting their ecosystem, their wild species, and help to implement fixed and temporary structures in national parks.
